Since 1980 polymerisation/cross-linking of organic coatings, films and adhesives has been the major activity of Dr Jurg Seidel, the founder of Beam-Consult. In 1996 UV-spot curing of solvent-free/one-component adhesives became the major activity.

Many years of international experience as chemist and manufacturing engineer help to find optimized solutions for new assembly, curing and measurement tasks, in the fields of medical devices, optics, micro-technology, electronics, watch making, rapid assembly/prototyping, with good contacts to Universities and other R&D activities (in Switzerland, Austria, Italy and Southern Germany).
